A mommy, wife and friend…a survior of child sexual abuse

To start this off, it is all about my 3 1/2 year old son.  Boys just lucked out that they could pee anywhere.  It all started in our backyard one day, innocent enough, we thought no harm in this.  Our son was playing in the little blow up pool in the backyard when he indicated he had to pee.  Inside of getting our hardwood laminate floors wet, I said pee out here.  It is our backyard and no one lives on either side of us.  So we proceeded to drop his pants and he peed.  He actually enjoyed this new found freedom of peeing outside.  Fast forward to last weekend.  We went away for the Labor Day weekend.  While at the hotel we went down to the pool for a swim.  I won the hotel night stay in a raffle from work last Christmas, and the hotel was a 5 star resort, very nice indeed.  Yes, there was a point to that.  The typical person staying at this hotel and the story I’m about to tell.  Anyways, while my son, hubby and I were swimming our son runs out of the pool and over to the side frantically looking for something.  What is he doing?  By now we realize he is doing the pee pee dance. Mind you the hubby and I are still in the pool and we CAN’T move fast enough.  Our son proceeds to pull his swim trunks down.  Oh good he has undies on.  NO!  He pulls them down too!!  The hubby is quickly approaching our son whom is now facing the pool and about to pee all the while I am yelling ”No don’t pee out here”.  Wow I guess to him it was one big toilet.  So the hubby picks him up and carries him away behind the closed tiki bar so he could pee.  All the way apologizing to the 7 men or so and 3 WOMEN!  WE ALL HAD A GREAT LAUGH!!!  I could not stop laughing.  I could not believe what my son had just done.  The innocence of children and the things they do.  You just never know!
